One day I want to be able to look at you without feeling sick. I want to be able to look at you and not feel so hurt by you. I want to be able to talk to you again without wanting to ask “Why? Why did you give up one me? Why did you leave?” I want to be able to see pictures of you and not start crying. I want to be able to be friends with you without feeling heartbroken every time I look at you. One day, I want to be able to stand in front of you, look into your brown eyes, and say: “You were everything I wanted. But you are not what I need anymore. And I honestly do hope that you’re happy.”
